Jeselene Andrade MPH, E-RYT 500, YACAP 

Jeselene Andrade's yoga journey began in India while she was working in villages to promote maternal health among women. It was during this time that she was introduced to the physical practice of yoga by her host mother, who practiced daily and invited Jeselene to join. Over the course of four months in India, Jeselene's relationship with yoga blossomed, and upon returning to the United States, her practice flourished even further.

 When practicing yoga with Jeselene, participants can expect an open and grounded experience that helps align the mind with the physical body, fostering clarity and awareness. Her sessions emphasize maintaining stable energy throughout flows and a consistent rhythm of breath, which aids in identifying areas of discomfort both in yoga practice and daily life. Jeselene is dedicated to making yoga accessible to all levels and body types, including expecting mothers.  

Jeselene draws from a variety of yoga styles in her teaching, including Ashtanga, Dharma, and Yin. She holds a 500-hour RYT certification from Roots Love Yoga School, under the guidance of Marie Belle Perez Rivera. Her training includes workshops in anatomy, functional medicine, Ashtanga yoga, and prenatal and postnatal yoga. Jeselene practices Mysore daily with Jarrick Browner
.
Beyond her yoga practice, Jeselene is a mother to three girls, two of whom are twins. Her experience as a mother enriches her understanding of prenatal yoga and maternal health, providing a personal perspective that enhances her support for other mothers on their wellness journeys. Jeselene also holds a BA in Community Health & Biology and a Masters in Public Health, reflecting her deep commitment to holistic health and well-being.
